Greg just finished his chemo treatments! Throughout last year and with recent treatments, Greg has continued to have a great attitude and work ethic! With all he has been through he continues to have a better attitude than most healthy and younger employees. Greg is a perfect example of someone who makes the best of a difficult situation and living every day to the fullest.

Fick Bros donated the use of several trucks and forklifts to assist Boy Scout Troop 1000 with their Annual Boy Scout Mulching Sale Fundraiser at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. Funds raised from the sale are used to underwrite various scouting activities and high adventure trips.

Tommy is always the first crew member on Steve’s crew to be at the shop in the morning, get the truck ready, materials loaded, etc. He is diligent in his work and has made some great improvements over the course of his employment with his quality and safety. Tommy is quiet and dedicated to doing his job the best and safest way he can.

Mark has been going strong, even though he has been battling a head and chest cold. He comes to work every day (sick or not) and gets his job done! Excellent effort…way to go Mark!

Next Generation of Fick Family to Lead Company

Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling, a Baltimore-based residential and commercial roofing company, today announced the appointment of J. Patrick Fick as the company’s new president. He will serve as the third president of Fick Bros. since the company’s inception in 1949. Fick succeeds his father, Joseph A. Fick, Jr., who served as president for the past 32 years.

Fick learned the business at a young age, working weekends and summers through high school and college as an apprentice. He began his formal career with Fick Bros. upon graduation from Mount St. Mary’s University in 1997 where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business. During his 13-year professional tenure with the company, he has served in variety of capacities including sales and production. Prior to his appointment as president, Fick served as vice president and production manager.

The Fick family has been in the roofing business for nearly a century. The company is owned and managed by the third and fourth generations of the Fick family. Fick Bros. specializes in slate roofing installation, repair and replacement, as well as gutters and downspouts, chimney and masonry repairs, exterior remodeling and carpentry, windows and doors and a variety of other home improvements.
